What makes Don's Technology different?

Don's Technology is different because we come to you, but are still more affordable. For most of our offered services, you know exactly how much you will be paying upfront instead of waiting for a bill and then realizing that you cant afford 3 billed hours worth of work. We also keep our customers informed every step of the way and will notify you should any plans change or new discoveries be made.

What computers do you service?

We service any make or model of computer, be it major manufacturer or home built. We also offer repair services for many small electronics, ones that other local shops won't fix.

How much will it cost?

Every situation is different, and therefore must be evaluated on a case by case basis. However we have a set price for most of our services offered so you know how much you will pay before hand. If a service is not listed on our services page or does not have a price listed, this means that the cost will be depending on cost of parts, hours of labor, or other variables; so just give us a call or submit a ticket online and we'll give you an estimate right away.

Do you do house calls?

Yes, that is our main service. We're all about coming to to you, saving you time and money.

How quickly can you get here?

In most cases we can perform service call on the same day. If it is urgent and needs to be fixed immediately or needs to be fixed outside of normal business hours we are able to rearrange our schedule, however additional fees will be assessed.

Do you offer pickup and delivery?

Yes, we always offer FREE pickups and deliveries to customers within our normal service area. Additional fees may apply to those living outside of our normal service area.

Do you offer price matching?

We're all about saving you money. If you find a lower price that is available to you, let us know where, and if the service is comparable, we will match the price and give you an extra discount of 5% of the difference. Each price match will be evaluated on a case by case basis, and some cases will be ineligible due to additional discounts, unavailability, or other variables.

Will it be cheaper to upgrade to a new computer then pay for repairs?

In some cases it will be, and if it is, we will let you know, and can help you figure out what type of computer to get.
However in most cases it is not, because even though a new computer may seem cheaper, you would also need to take into account the cost of transferring data, setup, customization, and additional software that must be purchased to continue where you left off with your old computer.
